Sixteen Stops of Silence
This composition was born from a conscious decision to reject visual noise in search of serenity. I spent an hour watching the sky cycle through rain and passing rainbows, but the dense, heavy clouds made the frame feel too cluttered for my liking. As twilight approached and the light turned golden, the atmosphere shifted. Through the extreme use of a sixteen-stop filter combination, I transformed that messy afternoon sky into long, peaceful brushstrokes, anchoring this stump in a timeless evening landscape.
