Sometimes, the simplest objects possess the power to anchor an entire landscape. Capturing the coastal twilight on the island of Texel just moments before sundown, I was drawn to the layered, dramatic gradients of red and orange bleeding through the evening sky. To balance this immense expanse, I utilised a solitary beach pole to disrupt the endless horizon. This subtle vertical element gives the eye a place to rest, transforming a vast, empty seascape into a calculated study of minimalist harmony.
