Landscape photography is often defined by patience and finding that one perfect vantage point. Whilst exploring the French countryside in spring, I discovered a single, precise spot along a quiet provincial road that offered this exact view. With my tripod firmly positioned and the composition locked in, I immersed myself in the absolute stillness of the morning, watching the sun play hide-and-seek with the clouds. It was a rewarding game of patience; I waited until a beam of beautiful morning sunlight peeked through the gaps, spotlighting the solitary tree and its rolling green slope at the exact split second required.
