Standing on the black sand beach, I took this shot handheld, because of the strong wind, which is actually quite normal in Iceland.

This church has a beautifully coloured red roof, but I prefer the black and white version nevertheless. The church stands out nicely against the dark background and its surroundings. Furthermore, the light was a bit harsh and the sky was a deep blue with patches of white, fluffy clouds. Ideal circumstances for a black and white photo. 😎
